WEEK 13 IN SMK PERIMBUN

This week marks the completion of my 13th week at SMK Perimbun, and it has been a rather eventful one. Notably, I found myself engaged in multiple observation sessions, where I had the chance to showcase my teaching skills and commitment to the field of education. On Tuesday, the 24th of October, my academic supervisor had the opportunity to observe my teaching. The experience was both challenging and rewarding. It allowed me to reflect on my teaching methods, ensuring I provide a productive and engaging learning environment for my students. I was thrilled to receive constructive feedback from my supervisor, which will undoubtedly help me grow as an educator. The following day, I had yet another observation session, this time with one of my subject teachers. It was another valuable experience that allowed me to refine my teaching techniques. The subject teacher's feedback was particularly insightful, offering me a fresh perspective on my teaching approach. I was pleased to note th...

WEEK 12 IN SMK PERIMBUN

Entering my twelfth week at this school, my usual teaching routines continued as expected. However, this week was marked by a few remarkable events. The most significant one was the assignment my colleague and I received to manage the preparations for MAKA (Majlis Anugerah Kecemerlangan Akademik), an Academic Excellence Awards Ceremony. This task consumed our attention from Tuesday to Thursday, and what made it even more special was the invaluable assistance we received from our students. With their help, we successfully completed all the preparations, which truly showcased the incredible teamwork and dedication of our students. Following this busy period of preparation, Friday brought another noteworthy event as I underwent my second observation session with my mentor. I had meticulously designed an interactive lesson for this observation. However, luck was not on my side as the school faced an unexpected power outage on that very day. Despite this ...

WEEK 11 IN SMK PERMBUN

In my eleventh week at this school, not much has changed in my daily routine. I've continued with my teaching and learning activities just like any other week. However, I've noticed a subtle shift in my approach towards education – I've become more inclined towards using technology as opposed to traditional methods. This shift in preference may be attributed to the increasing awareness of the benefits of technology in education. It allows for more interactive and engaging lessons, making the learning process more enjoyable for both students and teachers. Embracing technology has also made it easier for me to adapt to the evolving educational landscape. Last Friday was a particularly exciting day at the school due to a program organized for National Sports Day. The school hosted various activities to promote physical fitness and unity among the students and staff. One of the highlights of the event was the 'Baling Selipar' game. My colleague a...

WEEK 10 IN SMK PERIMBUN

This week marks my tenth week at this school. It has been a bustling week with a variety of programs being conducted, including the Skills Through Design (KMR) program, Academic Speaking, and the celebration of the Prophet Muhammad's Birthday (Maulidur Rasul). Consequently, many of our regular lessons had to be postponed to accommodate these events.  (During KMR Programme) In addition to these activities, this week also saw me embarking on preparations for my upcoming observation session with both my school mentor and supervisor. This signifies a crucial step in my professional development as an educator, as I eagerly anticipate their guidance and feedback during this significant process. As I reflect on these past ten weeks, I can't help but appreciate the rich and diverse experiences I've had in this school, not only in the classroom but also through my involvement in these extracurricular programs. It's been an enriching journey, and I look forward to continuing to ...

WEEK 9 IN SMK PERIMBUN

This week marks my ninth week at SMK Perimbun. As per usual, my instructional and learning sessions have continued in their regular fashion. However, what sets this week apart is the introduction of technology into my teaching approach. I have incorporated tools such as a projector to enhance the visual aspects of my lessons. Moreover, I've begun to integrate interactive activities within my classroom, utilizing platforms like Plickers. This innovative shift in my teaching methodology has not only made the learning experience more engaging but has also enriched the overall educational environment. Students now have the opportunity to interact with the subject matter in a more dynamic way, thanks to the utilization of multimedia resources like the projector. This visual aid not only makes complex concepts more accessible but also fosters a deeper understanding of the material. WEEK 8 IN SMK PERIMBUN

This week marks my eighth week at SMK Perimbun. As for this week, there isn't much to share as my routine remains quite consistent. I've been conducting teaching and learning sessions for both classes as usual. However, this week brought a slight twist as we had to attend school on Saturday due to a makeup day for a public holiday, which was postponed because of the elections. On this makeup school day, the school organized a Community Service Day, known as "Program Gotong Royong Madani," and various activities under the guidance of the Counseling Unit. I, along with my fellow practicum partners, were assigned to participate in the "Program Gotong Royong Madani." Throughout the program, everything went smoothly, and it turned out to be a rewarding experience. During the Community Service Day, our school came together to contribute to the betterment of our immediate surroundings and community. We engaged in a variety of activities aimed at fostering a sense ...
