WEEK 3 IN SMK PERIMBUN

This week marks my third week at SMK Perimbun. In this third week, not much has differed from the previous week, as students are still engaged in their examinations. Additionally, for the third year students, I am still in the process of conducting their speaking tests. During this week, my responsibilities include supervising the examinations for the fourth and fifth year students, administering the speaking tests for the third year students, and managing relief classes as directed.

Unlike prior relief classes where I had not provided any instructional materials, I have taken the initiative in this week to prepare materials for the relief classes. This step was taken to ensure a more structured classroom environment. To achieve this, I employed an interactive learning activity known as the "find and search" game. I printed several sets of these games and distributed them to the students. I have observed that the students have shown a genuine interest in participating in these activities. Initially reserved, their enthusiasm grew after attempting the first set, leading them to repeatedly engage in the task.

In conclusion, my third week has allowed me to establish a more harmonious rapport with the school, its environment, and the students. Furthermore, I have been able to generate ideas that contribute positively to my own classes as well as the relief classes.

Below I include my SWOT analysis for this week;

WEEK 7 IN SMK PERIMBUN

This week marks my seventh week at this school. During this week, there isn't much to share as I have been teaching and providing relief just as usual. However, on Monday (September 11th), we were tasked with organizing an awards presentation session for students involved in language week activities from the previous week. Unfortunately, I don't have any photos from that day as we were quite busy at the time. Additionally, this week featured a program held on Wednesday (September 13th) during co-curricular hours, known as the "Perimbun Has Talent" program. This program allows students to showcase their talents, including singing, acting, magic tricks, dancing, playing musical instruments, and more. The program ran from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM. It's undeniable that this program was quite captivating, as we got to witness the various talents our students possess. As for my teaching sessions this week, I still feel confident in managing the students in Form 3. I've be...

WEEK 9 IN SMK PERIMBUN

This week marks my ninth week at SMK Perimbun. As per usual, my instructional and learning sessions have continued in their regular fashion. However, what sets this week apart is the introduction of technology into my teaching approach. I have incorporated tools such as a projector to enhance the visual aspects of my lessons. Moreover, I've begun to integrate interactive activities within my classroom, utilizing platforms like Plickers. This innovative shift in my teaching methodology has not only made the learning experience more engaging but has also enriched the overall educational environment. Students now have the opportunity to interact with the subject matter in a more dynamic way, thanks to the utilization of multimedia resources like the projector. This visual aid not only makes complex concepts more accessible but also fosters a deeper understanding of the material. WEEK 4 IN SMK PERIMBUN

  This week marks the fourth week of my presence in this school. Within this fourth week, it can be stated that there have been minimal changes due to the fact that the majority of the students are still engaged in examinations. For the form 3 class, I have successfully administered their speaking test during this week. However, in the current week, I have only one remaining period to continue my lessons for my form 3 students. Consequently, the instructional progress I was able to achieve for my form 3 students this week was limited to a rather straightforward lesson. The subject matter revolved around vocabulary associated with the fourth unit, namely "Special Relationship." The lesson comprised a basic activity where students were required to comprehend the meanings of each vocabulary term, followed by providing suitable examples using the names of their friends. In my assessment, this was the extent of what I could share pertaining to my lesson this week. Nonetheless, a...
